  OUR MISSION

Explorer Post 433 was established in 2001 by the Greensboro Fire Department to provide young adults the opportunity to experience the many facets of work in the fire service for their consideration of a career in this field of work.  Members in the age range 14 to 20 years are encouraged to develop leadership skill, participate in training exercises, spend time in fire stations, and ride emergency calls.  Explorer members are always attended by Greensboro Fire Department staff members during activities.

OUR MEETINGS

Explorer Post 433 meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month during the school year, September through May.  Meeting times are 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Greensboro Fire Department training center at 1510 N. Church Street, Greensboro NC. in room 114.  Note: If school is cancelled, so is the Explorer meeting.  For more information call Captain Patterson at 451-6354.

OUR DUES

The Boy Scouts of America membership is $7.00 and insurance is $1.00 which is collected at the first meeting.  Voluntary Post dues in the amount of $1.00 per meeting are collected for use for charity or post activities.
